Hey, I’m Danielle!
I’m Danielle Tedrowe, a 25-year-old travel blogger from Texas.
(See the bluebonnets?)
I’m not the kind of travel blogger who quit my job, sold all of my possessions, and bought a one-way ticket, never to return. I would love to be that kind of traveler, and hope that one day traveling will be my full-time job. I daydream constantly of the day when I am able to turn in the keys to my apartment in favor of a life full of jet-setting the globe.
My heart is begging me to explore every corner of the globe, but at the moment my bank account says otherwise.
Although I can’t travel all the time, I still need as much of it as I can possibly get. I need adventure, excitement, culture, and the unknown. I need to experience the world without abandoning my home or the people I love. Luckily, I have discovered that with lots of budgeting and extensive planning, it is absolutely possible to have both.
This blog is about traveling the globe and experiencing the most exciting, adventurous, and beautiful things the world has to offer – all while coming home to my dogs every night and maintaining a full-time career in the US. It’s about making the very most of vacation days and long weekends, and doing the most I can with the time I have available.
I’ve lived all over America and have traveled it fairly extensively. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest, California, the midwest, and the south. You can currently find me in the Texas Hill Country and climbing the corporate ladder in Austin.
This blog is for the adventure girls out there just like me – the girls who have an unending sense of wanderlust filling their hearts. The girls who long to experience everything that this wonderful world has to offer. The girls just like you. I’m ready to make my dreams of seeing the whole world come true – one weekend at a time.
